Story
We started EmployeeSight after spending a year inside Indian SMBs watching the same painful split happen on repeat. HR ran on one tool (often Excel). Workforce visibility ran on another (often a screenshot- heavy tracker the team resented). The two never talked. Payroll closed late. Form 16 season was a project.
The fix wasn’t a better single product — it was a single record. So we built one. HR data and Work data live on the same employee row. The privacy defaults we wanted as employees are the defaults we ship. The Indian payroll fluency we needed as operators is the default we ship.
We’re early. The brand you’re reading is the bet that a team with care for the craft can build a better category-defining product than incumbents with bigger sales teams.

EmployeeSight is built around four ideas. They’re named on the homepage as “Why EmployeeSight” and quietly do the work of holding every product decision together. Whenever we say no to a feature, it’s because it broke one of these.

We’re a small, opinionated team based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Engineers who write the internal docs. Designers who care about typography. Operators who’ve done Indian payroll and want to do it better.
We hire deliberately and slowly. Roles open when there’s work that genuinely needs a new person — not because the org chart says we should grow this quarter.
